How To Treat Ringworm Naturally At Home

Ring worm is a common skin disorder caused by fungal infection. It may affect any part of the body but it is more painful on scalp. It is called as Tinea (Ringworm) by doctors or in medical terms; it is a condition of skin damaged by the fungal or fungal infections.

Ringworm (Dermatophytosis) is not a serious disease and it isn't a permanent disease; but necessary thing is caring yourself to stay away from it. You can use some natural treatments to cure from it.

Ringworm mostly occurs in children’s. Many different types of ringworm affecting each body part and skin and their common symptoms are reddish patches with itching, itchy dotted rounded patches, scaly patches, itching scalp, itching spot like a ring. It may be occur on any part of body like as on feet, hand, nail, scalp, groin and face; the common identity is itching spot.


Ayurvedic Home Remedies For Ringworm

There are some natural herbs and home remedies that work to treat from ringworm; you can try to get rid from this irritation.

1. Garlic

Garlic is the best anti fungal agent. It has used as an anti-fungal remedy and also it is the best anti fungal ingredient in our kitchen from ancient times. It works to treat from fungal infection. Try following method to get rid from ringworm.

You need to peel a fresh garlic clove and cut it into small slim slices. Apply these slices on the affected area and band-aid or wrap a bandage around it. Then leave it for overnight to get effective results. Or you can make a thick paste by grinding garlic cloves and apply it on ringworm. Use three times in a day to gets better results.

2. Turmeric

Turmeric is the natural healing agent: it has an antibiotic, antifungal and antioxidant properties that work to heal from any kind of bacterial or fungal infections. So try this natural herb to treat from ringworm.

Use a fresh turmeric juice to apply on the patches with the help of cotton ball. You have to apply this remedy thrice in a day to complete rid of ringworm patches. And use it until the patches will disappear.

3. Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is useful to treat from many types of ailments; it is a powerful anti-fungal agent. So it is very useful to treat ringworm. You can apply the vinegar directly to the patchy or affected area with the help of cotton ball.  Apply it 3-4 times in a day to get effective results. It has been a proven remedy to completely eliminate this fungal infection.

4. Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is the best healing agent for our skin. It is best remedy to heal cuts, burns, wound and infections. It has anti-fungal and antiseptic properties that help to cure from infections and other skin diseases. Use this remedy to cure from ringworm as well as fungal infections.

Apply tea tree oil with a cotton ball on affected area (patches). Repeat this procedure 3 times every day to get effective results. You can also dilute ½ tea tree oil with rest of water to apply on patchy area. It has an effective treatment to cure from ringworm.

5. Nail Polish Remover

It is not look like a treatment but very effective to get relief from irritation and itching of ringworm; and it has also cure from ringworm and other fungal infections.

Soak a cotton ball into nail polish remover and apply it to the affected area (ringworm patches). Leave this cotton ball on these patches for at least 5 minutes to eliminate the infection quickly. Repeat this remedy 2 times every day until the ringworm patches are removed permanently.

Special Care:

1. Eat more healthy food and vegetables to prevent from infections.
2. Avoid eating of junk and fast foods.
3. Clean your hand before eating.
4. Do not scratch the ringworm patches; it may spread to all the body.
5. Use topical ointment or anti fungal cream to get rid from it.
